I am talking about the “self” as applied to the individual as a whole. There is something about our ability to think and act that allows us to be who we are on some level.

There’s only so much you can do to try to change your self. It’s not going to be easy. If you’re looking to change your self, the best thing to do is to give it a try. I always struggle with this because it seems like it’s the hardest part of the whole self-awareness thing to do, but I still can’t help but ask myself, “What the hell am I doing with this stupid thing? I really need to stop doing this.” It’s not like this is my only goal in life though, I’m not just trying to improve my physical appearance. I’m trying to become a better person.
